Engineered hardwood is a real wood layer over a stable, layered core. It holds up better to humidity swings, and it’s often a smart choice for open plans that include the kitchen. Most engineered floors can be refinished once or twice.

Nailing the installation is what keeps new floors looking stunning. We work with skilled, experienced installers who follow every manufacturer guideline. They also check the subfloor first. Even newer homes can have high and low spots, and we level them so the floor lies flat.
